As a child of Generation X, I'm probably the last generation in my family to have mastered a penmanship class during elementary school. It seems children are now born with the ability to type 60+wpm; essentially faster than they are able to write. What's more, if you have not perfected your penmanship then how are you going to be an effective note taker?!?!
TYPING them up immediately after a meeting. This is the most sound advice I had been given in my career and one I have to remind myself of frequently. Using a platform such as Evernote or One Note is great as you will have access to that information on the go. More importantly you have the ability to share, export and revise as needed. Keep organized and on top of those action lists!
